Area: UI
Sub-Area: Glossary AI Automation
Issue
When setting up AI automation for glossary terms, the Platform option was missing from the configuration interface. This prevented users from scoping AI-powered glossary term suggestions to specific data platforms, reducing the effectiveness of the automation.
Solution
The Platform selection option has been added to the glossary term AI automation setup. Users can now configure platform-specific automation rules for glossary term recommendations.
To set up glossary term AI automation with platform filtering: 1. Navigate to Governance > Glossary 2. Select a glossary term 3. Click "AI Automation" or "Auto-classification" 4. Select target platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.) 5. Configure other automation parameters 6. Save the automation rule
Platform filtering allows: - More relevant term suggestions per platform - Platform-specific naming convention handling - Reduced false positives in term recommendations - Better context for AI models
Additional Notes
Fixed in version v0.3.12. AI automation features require the AI functionality to be enabled in your DataHub instance. Contact your administrator if AI features are not available.
